Maria Partsafa is a registered dietitian-nutritionist with expertise in clinical practice and individualized dietary intervention. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Thessaly and holds a Master’s degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition at Harokopio University of Athens, where she graduated with honors.
Maria gained hands-on experience during her internship at “Laiko” General Hospital of Athens. She has shared her clinical nutrition insights through presentations on liver disease and contributed to the organizing committee for the 17th Hellenic Congress of Nutrition and Dietetics. Additionally, Maria is a member of the newsletter student team at the Hellenic Dietetic Association and has volunteered with the association at initiatives such as the annual Greece Race for the Cure.
Her scientific contributions include publications on the metabolic effects of ketogenic diets, time-restricted feeding, and the impact of ultra-processed foods on cardiovascular risk. She also contributes to research on type 1 diabetes, integrating the latest nutritional science into patient care. Alongside her scientific contributions, she continues her professional development by participating in numerous congresses related to lipidology, diabetes, and pediatric nutrition. In her free time, Maria enjoys strength training and cooking, a passion she developed working in her family’s Greek tavern. Driven by a commitment to evidence-based practice, she helps individuals make informed nutritional choices for lifelong health.
